Poem - Alaskan Crossing
49
Through the icy sea mist, she emerges ―
through the Sawyer glacier,
a white new dawn
Crisp fresh air, washes away her woes,
roaring through giant waves, searching
for deep pleasure, to find a new memory―
a new hidden treasure,
years of history, years of mystery, a new
journey unfolds
A sudden eerie silence― she cuts
through calm blue waters, sailing
into the hidden passage, a new
story is told,
as she embarks into the unknown.
